ARK: Survival Evolved is an original adventure game in which the participant will find himself in the Jurassic period and try to survive among the dinosaurs. The gamer will have to get food and other resources, build reliable shelters to protect against bad weather and numerous enemies. To make it easier, he can create a colony of primitive people.
Millions of years ago, the planet looked different. The game ARK: Survival Evolved accurately reproduces the lush vegetation and peculiar fauna of those times. Giant lizards walked the earth. Only a few dinosaurs were herbivores, the rest were a serious danger to other inhabitants. The player will have to fight with tyrannosaurs, megalosaurs, triceratops and other reptiles or try to tame them.
After starting the game, the user needs to make several settings. The plot, duration and complexity of the passage will depend on this. The developers offer two modes. In the single player campaign, the opponent of the participant will be artificial intelligence. You can play at speed or in survival mode. In the first case, everything is decided by strength and dexterity. In the second, cunning and strategic thinking will be required to win. When the hero dies, the resources are saved, they can be used next time.
Much more interesting to play in multiplayer mode. It is possible to have 60 participants on the map at the same time. There are three options for multiplayer mode:
- PvP involves the development of interactive conflicts between users. The player needs to quickly upgrade the hero, collect resources, arm, subdue dinosaurs and defeat other participants.
- PvE involves confrontation with the environment. Participants do not quarrel among themselves, but together they try to survive in a dangerous and alien world. You can create strong clans for joint passage.
- The mixed version includes the best features of both modes. There are special zones for battles. Going beyond the perimeter, it will not work to harm another player.
When the mode is set, you need to create your hero. The user can adjust the figure, height and physique, choose the color of the skin, eyes and hair. At the beginning, the hero has nothing. He appears on the island and tries to survive. To do this, you need to look for resources, make tools, make fire, build a shelter. After a while, dinosaurs come into view. First you need to hide or run away from them. When the hero is armed, they can be tried to kill or tame.
In the early stages, most items remain locked. The hero will have to extract wood, collect stones. Useful things are made up of pieces scattered around the locations. If a predator attacks a person, one must defend oneself with bare hands. As you progress, the situation changes. The character gets everything he needs and goes to the next level.
