Drive Ahead is a racing simulator with arcade elements, where the player needs to go through difficult routes, overcome all obstacles, avoid damage, destroy as many enemy cars as possible and get to the finish line. You can play against other users or fight bots. The battle with real players creates additional intrigue and makes the process more dynamic. The type of race is set at the very beginning, it is no longer possible to change it during the game. Then the user selects the mode. There are three of them in the project and each has its own characteristics. It is better for a beginner to play classic races. An experienced player can try his hand at two more difficult modes.
In the game Drive Ahead for Android, you can try to choose a passive tactic. Hide and wait until an erroneous action destroys the opponent or he leaves the race, and automatically bring the long-awaited victory. But such a position will inevitably lead to loss. At some point, the playing field is flooded with water – the one who sits in a secluded shelter will probably drown before the opponent. The same function is performed by saws that appear on the track in the most unexpected places. The developers have come up with many obstacles, traps and “pleasant” surprises.
In the classic or standard mode, the user configures the main characteristics. He can choose a car, opponents and the track where the race will take place, or leave the basic parameters. To win, he needs to score 5 points. They are given for causing damage to the opponent that is incompatible with further driving. To do this, it is enough to turn over the enemy car or drive over it. Minor collisions do not count.
In the mission mode, the user needs to complete various missions. They can be viewed in a separate menu. The maps on which you will have to play are also listed there. To open the next location, you need to complete certain tasks. For successful completion of missions, internal currency is awarded. It cannot be withdrawn, but you can place bets in the local casino. In case of success, the user gets a brand new car or changes the appearance of the racer at his discretion. Valuable prizes make the game even more interesting.
In the King of the Hill mode, the main goal is to remove opponents from the track, appearing in the most unexpected places. At the same time, it is important to take care of the serviceability of your own car, because the opponents are also trying to inflict maximum damage on it. The winner is the one who manages to hold out until the end, destroying all the enemies. This mode is more suitable for experienced players.
