Speaker Booster Full Pro is a useful and easy-to-use application created by the developers for those who want to increase the volume of their mobile device beyond the available limit. The peculiarity of the program is that it can be used using only the built-in speaker or headphones. The utility is able to raise the sound level in all applications, including the built-in player, browser, YouTube.
The Speaker Booster Full Pro app bypasses the system limitation, allowing it to increase the sound level even if it reaches the maximum possible volume in a standard mixer. It is not difficult to deal with the controls, in the main menu the user can easily change the sound using one of two sliders:
- The volume is the basic value set at the system level (it can be adjusted using the buttons on the case).
- Gain – how much louder the sound should be at a fixed system limit.
When using the utility, it is recommended to set the volume at a level that is equal to 100%. If you do not follow this rule, the effect will not appear immediately, and the sound quality may deteriorate. If you select a volume level below 50%, the gain will not be noticeable. By default, the maximum limit is limited to 60%, this is due to the fact that with a more significant intervention, tangible distortions occur. If desired, the user can remove the restriction in the settings, but keep in mind that in this case the slider will be the most sensitive, and the adjustment accuracy will decrease.
When choosing gain values above 20-30%, the loss of sound quality most often occurs. The program is not very suitable for playing music: there is extraneous noise, hiss, distortion. You can partially eliminate this problem by selecting “Soft mode”, it is easy to find it in the settings, but the effectiveness of the option is low. Voice amplification is much better. In this case, “Soft mode” must be disabled. Podcasts, audiobooks and YouTube videos can be enjoyed without significant distortion. The only exception is recordings that were made in a noisy environment, this is due to the fact that not only speech is amplified, but also extraneous noise.
By default, the status of the application is constantly displayed in the Android notification bar. If necessary, you can completely disable this option or limit the display of the icon to the time of the resource. The parameters can be changed in the main menu: the buttons on the body of the device help to adjust only the system sound level.
