Dark Lands is an interesting and original runner with role-playing elements, made in the format of a side-scroller. The game has a fairly high difficulty and unusual passing mechanics. The participant will have to control a brave and agile hero who moves through the amazing locations of a fantasy world, bypasses obstacles and traps and fights against monsters.
There are two modes in the game Dark Lands. The campaign consists of 40 unique levels, during which the gamer will go through different locations. On each map, all sorts of obstacles, trials and opponents await him: legendary warriors, mythical monsters and powerful gods. During the endless run, you need to try to overcome the maximum distance.
The project has a dynamic and exciting gameplay. The hero quickly moves forward, jumps over traps, slips under obstacles and strikes with a sword. Each location comes across luminous spheres that need to be collected. This will improve the characteristics of the character and unlock additional abilities.
The game uses convenient and intuitive controls, but it takes a little getting used to. In order for the hero to make a jump or slip under an obstacle, it is enough to swipe across the display. When the contestant taps the screen anywhere, the fighter strikes the opponents. Over time, he will learn to combine different elements and actions, which will greatly speed up the process.
The visual design of the project deserves special mention. Peculiar contour graphics in combination with bright backgrounds create an unusual atmosphere. The participant sees only the silhouettes of characters that stand out clearly against light backgrounds. Locations look pretty gloomy, the developers perfectly conveyed the right mood.
