RunBot is an interesting runner with arcade elements. Events unfold in a high-tech world of the distant future, ruled by powerful corporations. In a secret laboratory, a unique robot was created, endowed with unusual abilities and high intelligence. Scientists planned to use it for military purposes. But something went wrong. He escaped and was forced to hide from his pursuers. Special police robots were sent to search. You need to help the character avoid numerous traps, bypass all obstacles and run away from his pursuers.
The game RunBot begins with the fact that the robot breaks the glass wall of the laboratory and finds itself in a huge ultra-modern metropolis. He understands that they are chasing him, so he tries to run away as far as possible. To do this, the character uses the skills that the creators have invested in him. From the very beginning, the hero knows how to slide, run and make incredible jumps. For example, it costs him nothing to jump from one skyscraper to another and, without slowing down, run further. As the user gets used to the controls, the character also becomes more dexterous and gains additional experience.
According to the plot, the robot must break away from the pursuers. But it has no purpose, it is an endless game. There is no refuge where he can completely escape danger and live in peace in freedom. He is waiting for a continuous run, which sooner or later will end in capture. In the process of chasing the character will constantly come across all sorts of traps and obstacles, tall skyscrapers and bottomless mines. He will face force walls and laser barriers. They suddenly appear on the way, and in order to go around or jump over them, you will need dexterity, quick reaction and the ability to calculate the trajectory of movement.
The developers have tried to diversify the gameplay. For example, a hero sometimes falls into a well. In it, too, difficult obstacles and various dangers await him. In order for him to get out of there, the user has to use the accelerometer. We should not forget about the pursuers. They literally follow on the heels and try to catch the fugitive, using various cunning devices. He must either break away from the chase, or destroy all the police. This is done with simple taps on the touch screen.
Each collision with obstacles or a successful attack of the pursuers takes away energy from the robot. If the battery runs out, he will simply stop and be immediately captured by agents. To keep running, he needs to collect special bonuses. They are energy blocks scattered in various places. In addition to agility and good reactions, the player must learn how to save energy. You also need to improve the character, strengthen his armor, increase the battery capacity, expand the force field. Over time, he becomes faster and more skillful, acquires new interesting abilities.
